First Generation Ten-ichi Work, Tendo Kaisho Shogi Pieces, Hand-Carved
This is a work by the first generation "Ten-ichi the Carver" (Sei Sato), one of Tendo's leading carvers.
The script is Tendo Kaisho. This was the first generation Ten-ichi's specialty, and he left behind numerous works in this style. The wood is likely Satsuma boxwood.
King piece: 30.0 * 26.5 * 8.3
